Inspirational dyslexia stories - Antonio

Dyslexia information > Inspirational dyslexia stories > Antonio

Antonio was branded a 'dunce' at school. As a child his tendency to misbehave and his short attention span were not put down to dyslexia, as the condition was not widely know about then. After leaving school with no qualifications Antonio worked in a number of jobs in the building trade, where his creative skills and ability to work to a high standard were soon recognised.

Antonio realising that he was good at something, decided to explore the reasons why he hadn't achieved at school. This lead to him changing career paths and eventually gaining a degree.

He has gone from there, to studying for a Phd, and starting BeesTheWrongWayRound.com, where he helps others to overcome dyslexic barriers.

Favourite Books:

The Success Principles by Jack Canfield because it is realistic and what he says is achievable if applied. I like it because it is in an easy to understand straightforward way.

Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie because I am a big fan of Hercule Poirot and this story really got me involved trying to guess the plot the whle way through. Also one of the central characters was an Italian called Antonio.
