What is it?
If you are in the UK and are a full or part time undergraduate or post graduate student and you have dyslexia, you might be eligible to claim Disability Students Allowance. The amount you can get is not dependent on your income and does not have to be paid back.
What can I use it for and how much can I get?
You can use the non medical helpers allowance of up to £11,840 to pay for additional help that you may need with your studies. This includes paying for specialist tuition from us or from your university. If you would like to find out how we can support you, then click here.
You can use up to £4680 to buy equipment such as a larger monitor or a laptop, if they would make it easier for you to study.
